Leadership Development at New Vision Wilderness is designed to transform students into more effective leaders. They experience skill development in peer mediation, stress management techniques and self-confidence building. This is an excellent opportunity for highly motivated students with a strong potential for becoming dynamic leaders. NVW helps students hone their leadership skills as they participate in experiential workshops, leadership development curriculum, low ropes course initiatives, and extended wilderness trips. Program Directors utilize goal oriented, team driven activities to build confidence, communication, and trust with participants. Experiential learning techniques build the group as a team, and the individual as a leader. Participants emerge from leadership development feeling empowered, more confident, and most importantly… ready to lead!
