We Go to the Core: Treating Adoptive Youth with Histories of Complex Trauma

Other programs have therapists that specialize in different areas: one in anxiety, another in adoption, another in addiction or depression or defiant teens, etc. At New Vision we believe all of these behaviors, and at times diagnosis, are symptoms. For adoptive youth with histories of complex trauma, these diagnosis and behaviors are often merely symptoms. At New Vision we go to the core. We treat and heal the trauma in the body. At New Vision all Therapists specialize in the same areas. New Vision’s milieu was developed over the last decade and all professionals were trained to heal the effects of complex trauma amongst adopted youth and young adults. All of our clinical modalities and interventions specialize in anxiety and substance abuse as it relates to complex trauma and adoption.
