Meredith Scudder, MSW, APSW
Meredith Scudder, MSW, APSW is a Primary Wilderness Therapist at New Vision Wilderness.
Meredith hold a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in social work from Indiana University. She is a Certified Brainspotting Therapist having completed Phase 1, Phase 2, and Brainspotting with Adoption Specialty Trainings. Prior to joining New Vision Wilderness Meredith worked in elementary special education, school social work, and private practice. Her work as a therapist in private practice focused on children and adolescents who experienced adoption and developmental trauma. Meredith is passionate about helping individuals heal the root of their distress and ultimately discover their identity, passion, and purpose. She uses attunement in relationships to create safe and calming spaces for her clients to process, heal, and grow.
Meredith has a love for the outdoors and enjoys hiking, kayaking, and nature photography in her personal time. She is an avid reader who is constantly expanding her knowledge of neuroscience, trauma, and growth. Meredith is originally from Indiana and can be found rooting for her beloved Cincinnati Bengals while spending time with family and friends.
