Kay was born and raised on the Oregon coast. From an early age she was instilled with a deep love of the outdoors. Swimming, sailing, canoeing, foraging, hiking and singing camp songs all bring a sparkle to her eye. After running summer camps, coaching volleyball, creating wedding cakes, teaching cooking classes and traveling in the backcountry Kay finds herself being drawn to uniting people and fostering creativity and curiosity. Kay believes nature provides us the opportunity to slow down, create wonder, generate gratitude and heal. She has seen the immense benefits wilderness has brought to her life and feels honored to get to help connect others to the outdoors and connect to themselves.
